How many times have you heard a friend say they’ve cracked their screen or – dropped their phone into the bath? It’s a bit of a hassle, at best, and the potential loss of your data at worst. We understand this and – as we aim with all of our services – will do our best to get your device fighting fit and mobile in the shortest possible time.

So now, if you’re not happy with your apps or sad with your iPad, before you drop it into the bin – drop it into us.

Competition Winner

Congratulations to Lora McGinlay the lucky winner of our Acer Aspire One Netbook. The month long Netbook Competition sparked a lot of interest and received more than 200 competition entries! Lora correctly identified the magic letters displayed on billboards throughout the South Side of Glasgow and also on the PC Repair website. The letters were of course, F, I, G, T which make the magic word.. GIFT!

5 Quick Tips for a healthy PC

When your PC goes wrong getting it back up and running can cost you time and money. However there are a few positive things you can do to help keep your system running smoothly and minimise downtime if a disaster does occur.

  1. Back up important documents as often as possible
  2. Regular virus scans using a good quality antivirus program ie Kaspersky
  3. Keep windows up to date with Windows Updates
  4. Make sure your hard drive is defragmented, especially if you are using Windows XP
  5. Uninstall old applications that you no longer use
