Windows XP arrived on the scene in 2001 and as of April 8th 2014 it is coming to an end. We will still be supporting equipment running Windows XP, however Windows updates and third party support for products such as printers and other peripheral devices will cease. This would be the perfect time to make sure you have installed all Windows XP updates or even consider a move to systems running operating systems such as Windows 7 or the much discussed Windows 8 & 8.1.
Customers who are still working on perfectly running Windows XP based systems can still continue to use their PCs as normal if they choose to do so. However, in the event any software issues arise that require Windows repairs or Windows reinstallation we may not be able to carry out the necessary work. Technical assistance for Windows XP is no longer available, including automatic updates that help protect your PC. Microsoft has also stopped providing Microsoft Security Essentials for download on Windows XP.
